Winter Strength and Conditioning
December 2, 2013 – February 28, 2014
(Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 3pm-4pm Field House

Weight training and cardio workouts begin 3 days per week with schedule/details below.
Mondays – Full body workouts consisting of core lifts such as dead lift, bench press, power clean/squat, incline and cardio work (treadmills or track depending on weather). Also, auxiliary exercises will be implemented on occasion.
Wednesdays – Upper body workouts, cardio work and auxiliary.
Fridays – Lower body workouts, cardio work and auxiliary.
Note: Must have proper workout attire, sneakers must be worn.

Winter Batting and Pitching
Beginning January 2014 – February 2014 (ending last week of Feb)
Winter batting and pitching will begin hopefully 2 days/nights per week.
8 Weeks - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION TO FOLLOWWeight training will continue during batting/throwing.

Pre-Season Throwing and Running (Captain's Practices)
Beginning February 4, 2014
Approx 4 Weeks prior to tryouts - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND LOCATION TO FOLLOW
Pre-season throwing begins indoor/outdoor.
This will be a gradual progression leading into first day of tryouts March 7, 2014. Coaches are prohibited from this so it is imperative captains and team leaders facilitate the throwing.

While I understand holidays, vacations and other priorities will contribute to absences and changes to these workouts,it is imperative all potential players attend the majority of these workouts. If you are involved in a Winter Sport, then you will be excused until your season ends.
